Well, the Japanese snack makers certainly know that by calling something my favorite word in the entire universe almost 100% ensures I will buy it!

It seems like it’s getting warmer, but last year it seemed like that too! And then, we had three more months of winter until a straight segue into summer. I’d rather it get really cold again so I can keep going snowboarding though – the weather now means there’s snow on the ground, but there’s only an inch and it’s all ice. Melt already, gosh!!

おいしそう!That makes me want to go to the local Japanese grocery and stock up on some sweets. I normally don’t like candies, etc but somehow I find myself able to get copious amounts of Japanese candies. :) Maybe they have drugs in them to hook gaijin! haha
How have you been lately? I’ve been completely absorbed in wedding planning the past few weeks, so I’m feeling disconnected from people. :(
Thank God I haven’t seen that sweet in the stores. I need to shed my winter layers. I almost completely gave up chocolate in the US, but I apparently can’t keep away from it during the winter here. I know I’ll be better off once it gets hot enough to make chocolate seem like a sticky pain in the ass.
Also, if you have ice on the ground, then I KNOW it’s warmer here, but it’s still a little chilly. This place takes a little longer to heat up than the rest of Kyushu. Can’t wait for it to heat up, but I guess I’ll get (more than) a taste of that during spring break, bwahahah.
