Recent readings from Yojo-han Shinwa Taikei:

The next day, as I blearily opened my eyes under my futon, I saw a dainty girl leaning against the bookcase, and was promptly horrified.

A girl in my 4 and a 1/2 tatami mat room. This was a strange happenstance, unprecedented throughout all of human history.

I must have had her stay the night – playing with fire, falling into an insolent, perverted love with this proper young woman – and she must have awoken earlier and was now leaning against my bookcase, cursing the mistake of the last night, unable to move. Responsibility, negotiations, marriage, withdrawal from university, poverty, divorce, extreme poverty, and a lonely death – thoughts of my future flowed like a chain link inside my head. I suddenly realized what an irrevocable predicament I had gotten myself into, and I shook like a newborn baby deer inside of my futon covers. However, before long I remembered what had happened the night before, and I remembered that this young lady was only a doll.”

Well, we all figured the that Japanese Otaku Male preferred Real Dolls to real live ladies!
